Liu plays a somewhat stalkerish crazy-ass but adorable girlfriend who torments new boyfriend/video store owner Cillian Murphy. The movie plays out as a romantic comedy version of those Messin’ with Sasquatch commercials. Lucy Liu sets up elaborate pranks that involve film noir-esque situations with Murphy constantly getting punked.
