The buzz generating marketing model for Paranormal Activity is working, because the film is now expanding to 20 more venues across the country. The film (which Devin reviewed last week) has been well covered on the internet, and has drawn significant attention because of the strongly positive reactions it’s been getting at midnight screenings. The film’s website features a “DEMAND IT” function that has experienced a huge wave of nearly a quarter of a million “DEMANDS,” in the wake of these screenings.
