The first full trailer for Hot Fuzz, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s follow-up to Shaun of the Dead, is out now and it is – predictably – excellent. And quite funny. But what I love most is the action stuff; Shaun is a wonderfully funny movie, but it also works completely as a real zombie film. Hot Fuzz looks like it’s going to be very funny but also work as an honest-to-God action movie.
Also, an old lady gets a flying kick to the head.
Here’s what I know – I can’t wait for this film, and this trailer – which includes some cool glimpses at what I understand to be a zillion cameos – only make me that much more on edge, dying to see it !
