You might get “The Fall”. I just saw it today, it’s produced by David Fincher and Spike Jonze (if that isn’t strange enough) and is worth checking out. I went in not knowing anything about it and enjoyed it quite a bit. Perhaps you’ve all heard of it and I’ve had my head in the sand, but I think it’s flying under the radar unnecessarily. It’s heavy on the visual, atmospheric, elaborate costume end (think Matthew Barney) but has that sort of quirky, cinema as painting Wes Anderson feel, and a few amazing moments of dark childhood imagination you would expect from Del Toro. I was surprised I hadn’t heard more about it…
