I’m a fan of Tim & Eric but I’ve had enough conversations with people to know that their work either clicks with a person or it doesn’t, and there’s pretty much no way to convince someone that it is or isn’t hilarious. So with that in mind I don’t think there’s a whole lot of prefacing necessary for the teaser of Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie, the pair’s first feature film. Short as the teaser is, if you have ever consumed even a single episode of one of their shows, then you’ll probably already know how you’ll react to what follows. If you haven’t, well then this (hell, even just the video thumbnail) speaks for itself…

So yeah, pretty much Tim & Eric. While the Aqua Team movie did not set a great precedent for Adult Swim-style absurdity to scale up well, I have a hunch the Tim & Eric film will work in a way ATHFCMFFT did not, though again, only for those already tolerant of the aesthetic.

I assume a more substantive trailer showing off cast-members like Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Zach Galafianakis, Jeff Goldblum, and Will Forte will get out there at some point.

TIm & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie hits video-on-demand the 27th of January, and then will have some kind of limited theatrical run starting the 2nd of March.
