I have fear in my heart when I see a People Magazine quote on anything that isn’t People Magazine. I can’t trust the opinion of a critic who shares page space with weekly articles about how Lindsay’s teats are doing. It scares me almost as much as when Larry King offers his endorsement. Or Tom Metzger.
There’s a People Magazine quote on the cover of Surface. That said, I’m a few episodes into it and I’m enjoying it. I mean, it has sea beasts. I need nothing more. Plus, the leading actress is a very intriguing combination of Melina Kankareides and Amanda Peet.
