Jason Statham is wicked pissed!
He has to be — and not just because he agreed to be in a Uwe Boll movie. See, in Lionsgate’s kooky new action flick Crank, Statham plays a hitman who gets poisoned, and the only way to suppress it is to keep adrenaline pumping through his veins, thereby guaranteeing a constant rampage of anger and violence and driving at insane velocity and punching and throwing people through objects.
I previously described it as D.O.A. meets Collateral, but now I think I’d call it Speed on foot.
Either way, it also has Amy Smart in lingerie and all sorts of preposterous mayhem.
