For the next 30 days I’ll torture you with my stupid answer to the writing prompts taken from the 30 Day Writing Challenge and the 30 Day Song Challenge. Here we go:

Writing Challenge – Day 24:  Discuss a spontaneous moment in your life that that turned out to be fantastic.

When I lived in Australia, I used sometimes buy a bus ticket, go to the final bus stop, and go back to the city.  Sometimes I stopped for food or to explore.   Sometimes I did this with my dear housemates.  We’d be bored out of our minds, one of us would say “let’s get food”, and we’d end up somewhere and have a good time.  To me, spontaneity doesn’t have to manifest in big surprise adventures.  Sometimes is just great to give yourself a little gift, like go somewhere and have a perfect little dessert with a perfect little cup of tea, a delicious smoothie, or try food you’ve never tried before.  Little spurs of spontaneity make life more bearable.

Song Challenge – Day 24:  A song that you want to play at your funeral.

When I die, I want it to be a party.  I’m not into raves, but I’d rather have a rave than a typical funeral surrounded by sad people. Hell, I’d like to have a jazz funeral:
