The boys over at AICN (who seem to be in CHUD-ignoring mode these days, but whatever…) said this film was the best thing since sliced head, and I’m hoping that this flick is a wonderful treat for cinemagoers and not the latest victim of "we saw it early, so it’s great" hype. That’s not a jab at Harry and gang, but rather the other tons of people who’ve seen it. It’s just hard to trust the opinions of the faceless many.

That said, I will believe anything that Faceless Manny tells me. Guy’s had a perfect record ever since coming across the border.

V for Vendetta is the adaptation of Alan Moore/David Lloyd 80’s comic from noted assistant director James McTeigue starring Natalie Portman, Hugo Weaving, and Stephen Rea. Chaos follows.

For those who aren’t brilliant, it is ‘An uncompromising vision of the future from the creators of ‘The Matrix’ trilogy’. and it looks to really challenge audiences in a good way. It never gets old to see flicks that buck the system and all signs point to this being a winner.

First, a disclaimer. No young CHUD.com readers at this one please.

"This film is rated R for strong violence and some language.  No one under 17 will be admitted to see this film unless accompanied by a parent or adult guardian."

Want to see this flick early? Use the appropriate link below and provide your mailing address, answering these questions to the best of your ability.

1. What is the very best comic book adaptation thusly adapted for the screen? That includes Howard the Duck.

2.What is your current favorite ‘uncompromising vision of the future’ in film history? That includes Ice Pirates.

3. We’re making the first official CHUD.com movie, 11 Colonels ATTACK!, an uncompromising vision of the present. Would you consider following it on the BLOG we started? Take a look!

4. Alan Moore has what some would say a kind of grumpy attitude towards the film business. He also probably has a lot of food in his beard. Would you agree?
