From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

365 days of Sci-Fi Archive

And now… DAY ONE-HUNDRED AND FIFTY-ONE:

“I had originally saved this one for Mother’s Day and then completely forgot about it.  But mostly, I just wanted to use the phrase “kill-crazy rabies babies.”

– Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“They brought you into this world.  They’ll take you out!”

MOMBIES: Freed from a government lab by members of the Animal Liberation Front, a guinea pig carrying a genetically altered version of the rabies virus winds up at a Mommies and Me movie screening, where it infects the matronly patrons, unleashing hordes of flesh-munching mothers and their kill-crazy rabies babies on an unsuspecting populace.

Nick Says: If you could arrange a cooperative crossover with the guys at MILFHUNTER you’d be in business! As it stands it’s a fun premise, especially if you can play on the Joan Crawford vibe as well as the Oedipus vibe. HOT!
