I wouldn’t usually run with such a minor poster release, but I have to say that as a cat person, I enjoyed the quirky little synopsis for Miranda July’s new film so much that I thought it was worth sharing it and the image with you.
Me and You and Everyone We Know was an extremely well received independent film that stared July herself, along with the CHUD-beloved John Hawkes. So quirky it hurt, it was still a very interesting film with a lot of bizarre characters and interesting strands. Frankly it’s been so long since I’ve seen it that I have trouble remembering how all the different little moments gelled together. Regardless, July’s new film sounds just as precious, with the following synopsis…
“THE FUTURE tells the story of a thirty-something couple who, on deciding to adopt a stray cat, change their perspective on life, literally altering the course of time and testing their faith in each other and themselves.”
That was enough to perk my interest, so I’ll be keeping an eye out for a trailer and more information, and letting you guys know when I run across it…
