Quick and dirty folks:

If you live in Atlanta and want to attend two awesome movie screenings here during the 35th Atlanta Film Festival, CHUD has you covered. We’ve got plenty of passes to two different screenings, including a screening of the classic Network!

Here’s the details of the two screenings:

NETWORK (retro screening)

•• 5/3 at 8:00pm at the Plaza

Howard Beale, the dean of newscasters at the United Television Network, is put out to pasture because he too old. Network executive Max Schumacher, Howard’s best friend, is forced to deliver the bad news. Beale can’t stomach the idea of losing his 25-year post as anchorman simply because of age, so in his next broadcast he announces to the viewers that he’s going to commit suicide on his final program. What he doesn’t count on is a media blitz surrounding his circumstance.

…and…

KTO YA?

5/4 at 9:30pm at Landmark Midtown

This story begins at the Sevastopol station in the early rainy morning. On the platform near Moscow-Sevastopol train the police finds a young man without documents, who has lost his memory. He remembers a lot of facts: historical dates, songs of his favorite band, but he can’t recollect his name or say where he is from and what his family is.

To win these passes, all you have to do is the following:

1) Make sure you’ve liked CHUD on FACEBOOK (I’ll be checking!)

2) Send an EMAIL HERE (make sure the subject stays ATLfilmfest), and include links to TWO articles on which you’ve left a comment. Dig around the site, find something that interests you and toss your thoughts into the conversation! No bullshit comments– let us know what you actually think about that latest casting news, or if you think that new review will reflect your thoughts, or if that feature is something you’d like to continue. We love hearing from readers…

…and that’s it! Look for notice Monday night if you’ve won. Tickets will be available at Will Call 10 minutes before showtime.

Even if you don’t win passes, make sure you check out the Atlanta Film Fest website- there’s a ton of stuff worth getting out of the house for!
