You’ve just got to love Gary Busey. He’s all the best kinds of batshit, both on the screen and off. I caught him a couple years ago on the Oscars red carpet when he interrupted an interview with Jennifer Garner and Garner was begging security with her eyes to come and club him into oblivion and drag him off. So it’s great news to me that Busey’s just signed on to the cast of Piranha 3DD, says THR. He joins the announced cast of Danielle Panabaker (The Crazies), Matt Bush (Adventureland), Chris Zylka (The Amazing Spider-Man) and David Koechner (Paul).
John Gulager (Feast trilogy) is directing a script from Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton (the last few Saws). Piranha 3DD opens on Nov. 23rd.
