April 24

Film/TV: Another delightful rollercoaster game, but the Braves pulled of the sweep of the World Champions. Nice work. Watched the latest Game of Thrones.

Music: Uploaded mixes of the new tunes to the site and then rocked out to them with Johnny Mak and Andrea. Proud of them. Some good stuff there.

Comedy: Nada.

Food/Drink/Inhalents: More liquor shelf attacks. A salad for lunch/dinner. Leftovers in the late hours. Some hookah and cigars on the deck.

Family: Did the Easter egg hunt with the family in the early hours. Sofia was adorable, and Rocco has a mind of his own, avoiding the eggs and trying to to to the street. Since his name’s not Gage Creed, I hustled him far from danger.

Friends: John and Andrea. I whupped them in darts, and the fact it took me about 22 turns to hit the bull’s-eye shouldn’t be mentioned.

Work: No.

Art: Nope.

Goodies: None, but Andrea brought some new hookah tobacco. It was a delight.

Screenwriting: No.

Projects: No.

Minutia: More people should watch last week’s Friday update. It’s sorta great.

Activity: Other than carrying kids, no. But, the bike is about to come out of storage.

Ailments: Stress. Headaches. Sadness. Why do things never work out a little smoother?

Shrink’s Chair: The stuff I’m going through right now with the sites and stuff is very difficult. Having to jump though hoops I never have with less resources than I’ve ever had. Yet, still I think I’m through it and something snags. And all of this while my mother is going through treatment for two forms of cancer. Cosmically, I am hated.

Asshole(s) of the Day: The parents who let their kids play basketball in the cul-de-sac unsupervised, and with one of them with their pants around their ankles and their big-ass belly flopping around. Be a parent, shit. Your kid looking like that fuels the stereotypes and this block is already a lot shittier than it was five years ago.

True Trivia: I ate a glass Christmas ornament as a kid. That explains a lot doesn’t it?

What Did I Learn Today: Restaurants don’t open until 6pm on Easter. Aside from Taco Mac, which is going to survive whatever apocalypse even kills roaches.

Link of the Day: Dumb Ass Carp. Suicide!

Looking ahead to tomorrow: Monday. Since I’m writing this from the future I already know it’s the worst day of 2011 for me.
