The Journals are very cool, in that every week Warner Bros is sending a different site to the set of Poseidon, the remake of The Poseidon Adventure, directed by Wolfgang Petersen and starring Josh Lucas, Kurt Russell, Richard Dreyfuss and many more cool actors in a big, fun, slowly getting killed off ensemble.
I just came back from my set visit, and the CHUD chapter, which will be Chapter 5, should run next week. Here’s a teaser of what you can expect from my report!
Devin: Do you get seasick up on that stage as it bounces?
Dreyfuss: No. You see, I’m on a set. Inside a soundstage.
Devin: It’s been thirty years since Jaws.
Dreyfuss: It seems like yesterday.
Devin: Really?
Dreyfuss: No.
Devin: Well, that was a water picture and now you’re back on the water.
Dreyfuss: No. You see, I’m on a set. Inside a soundstage. The sharks can’t get in here.
