Kong is seen. That’s the face of the big ape who is going to rule the end of the year in Peter Jackson’s remake of the classic film.
Looks pretty good to me – I like his snaggly tooth, and he has a convincing beat up look about him. That sort of look comes from a lifetime of tussling with T-Rex.
Of course he also looks like a big old ape, which is what we all essentially expected. It’s funny how we get excited about stuff like this when it’s hard for them to screw up the basic look. The real test is going to be seeing the dude in action – which will happen tonight when all the NBC channels will simulcast a teaser trailer for the movie.
