From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

And now… DAY THIRTY-THREE:

“Mustn’t forget how all of this started, so today’s another entry in the oft used and abused ‘manimal’ subgenre.  Sure, it’s sort of expected at this point, but I think this one’s got teeth.”

– Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“He wants YOU to be his main squeeze!”

Pitch:

Deep in the heart of the Amazon, a research expedition is attacked by a giant anaconda, leaving only a handful of survivors to tell the tragic tale.  Among them is a young scientist who soon begins to exhibit extraordinary strength and agility granted him by the mutant venom now coursing through his veins.  Unfortunately, the more he uses his newfound superhuman abilities, the more he transforms into something less than human — a hideous snake-man with a horrible ssssssspeechimpediment and a nasty urge to squeeze the life out of people.

Nick Says: I want this movie yesterday… the role Alan Ruck was born to play.
