Brendan Fraser has told the press that there is a script for a third Mummy movie, but that he isn’t allowed to announce it.
At least some parts of the film will be shot in Asia, the actor continued to reveal about the film he cannot reveal about. Unless he was just saying that since he was in Asia, specifically Shanghai, where he was announcing that he was next going to star in a film called Children of Guangxi.
Children is a film of my very favorite genre: historical drama about a white guy saving adorable minorities/foreigners. This time Fraser will play a journalist who doesn’t leave China when Japan invades in 1937, and who saves a whole bunch of little kids from Jap oppression. Paul Haggis wrote the script, which is sure to be blindingly obvious.
