Among all the great art films and performance pieces released last year, I don’t think there is a single film I’m looking forward to rewatching more than Jackass 3. that I have a whole film’s worth of new footage (85 minutes) to enjoy is like a gift from the whatevers. The film was one of my favorites and even cracked my Top 15 of 2010 (to some reader’s very dumb dismay), so the announcement that the online-hosted extra content will start appearing via Joost on April 1st is very welcome. Below you can see the trailer for the footage before marking your calender.
The stream will be available in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, Germany, France, Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland and Turkey. Structured like a web series, content will emerge weekly before it’s dumped out on VOD and DVD collected together with the theatrical film.
