The “Fans of Film Music” event was fantastic. I have also referred to this as “Fans of Film Score” so just ignore and replace.
The composers were absolutely wonderful as they talked and talked and talked some more. They expressed their views about digital media and the way in which they get and don’t get work. It was wonderfully informal and I believe that is why they were open to sharing and conversing so much.
To top things off, I saw John Williams live at the Hollywood Bowl. It was an absolutely amazing night. But the crazed Star Wars fans were out in “force” as you can see by the below photo.
