Occasionally we internet types get invited to screenings for films that are still works in progress. Recently, I got asked to check out such an event for an upcoming indie called Recreator. It’s directed by Gregory Orr, who’s worked primarily on TV documentaries. Recreator stars Stella Maeve (The Runaways) and relative newcomers Alexander Nifong and Jamal Mallory-McCree as a trio of teens whose own worst enemies are literally themselves. John de Lancie also puts in an appearance.
