I woke up at around 4:30 this morning thinking about the movie Ladyhawke. Nothing about in particular, just that it’s been a very long time since I’ve seen it. I’m not sure if it’s any good or if I even liked it. This could be a sign to revisit, but I already walked down that road with Legend. Wasn’t pretty.
You might not know this, but I just ate an apple. It was pretty good. Granny Smith.
TIME LAPSE!! Between that line about the apple and now, I fell asleep for a good chunk of time. What was once Married with Children on my television is now Saved by the Bell: The College Years. Now there’s a shock to the system. I wish I could go back and enjoy that apple again.
Watched The Crazies remake last night in the process of getting royally hammered and it wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t particularly good either. Just kinda was. Could see every beat coming and wasn’t especially engaging, but it did have someone hanged by a car wash, which I guess you don’t see every day. Or maybe you do.
Anecdote Corner: Decided to start reading Transmetropolitan. Been a long time coming, I suppose. Got the whole run from a friend of mine. This has long been the “Oh Devin, you gotta read this, it’s so you!” series. Maybe that’s what put me off. Damn people telling me what’s me. Bastards.
