Ok, nearing the end of the month, I can gladly say that I’ve accomplished quite a few of the things I set out to do so far.
I’ve been working out quite a bit with the free weights. I can feel my arms getting stronger, but I still need to try to start on Cardio so I can lose more weight. My dieting has helped a bit. I’m cutting back on salt for one.
I cleaned up my room some, and I cleaned out my car. Just earlier today, while Vanessa and I were switching cars, she washed and vacuumed the Fusion, while I vacuumed out the Impala. I had cleaned out most of the car, but the trunk was the worst. Over a year ago, a truck threw a rock into my back window, and it cracked. It was fixed thanks to the insurance company, but the people didn’t vacuum up the glass particles. I don’t really carry much in the trunk, so I didn’t worry about it. Today I finally got around to it, since I was there. Now my car is fabulous!
Netflix Instant I’ve been watching some. I watched Whatever Works with my friend who is a HUGE Larry David like myself. I also saw Wall-E which was just awesome. Now I understand why so many like it. Still need to get around to seeing Up.
My trips that I want to take have been postponed, since my friend Dannis is not getting that time off right now, and Vanessa and I had to postpone our July outing due to her taking a work trip in July. We’re now going in August.
I’ve played through most of the games I’ve had in that pile. I’m thinking about blogging on a few, since I thought they were pretty good. Batman: Arkham Asylum and Conan being standouts.
I’ve been trying to at least get 2 blogs each week, but not just yet. I want to leave about 2 days in between, so as to not just crowd up the blogs I do. I may break this though, as I’ve got another My Eyes! My Eyes! lined up, and may do that tomorrow.
Also have a few Rene’s Recommendations lined up. This is a new title as I’m dropping the previous title of You Have Got To Watch This Movie.
I’ve been cutting back on the spending too like I wanted. Paid off my bills, and am happy in the fact that I’m not spending TONS.
Rene’s song of the day: “Got You Where I Want You” by The Flys.
Thanks for reading my blog and see you next time!
I know it’s not every single thing that I have set up, but these are the things that I have accomplished, and that have happened thus far.
