Our dear departed Devin recently debuted a new dige- sonofabitch, that wasn’t even something I was trying to do!

Drafthouse Films, one of the first manifestations of the Alamo Drafthouse’s crazy plans to expand their much needed influence on our national cinema experience, showed immediate balls by tackling the controversial Four Lions as their first film. Now they’re joining up with Badass Digest (the other brand new manifestation of their plans) to tour the country and get the film in front of eyeballs.

Devin Faraci, former CHUD luminary, is the badass behind Badass Digest and will be joining the tour…

“FOUR LIONS” DIRECTOR CHRIS MORRIS EMBARKS ON
NATIONWIDE SCREENING AND Q&A TOUR

Austin, TX—Tuesday, October 26, 2010— Drafthouse Films is proud to bring famed UK satirist Chris Morris to the United States for a rare series of public Q&As following screenings of his hilarious terrorism comedy Four Lions. Morris will be visiting Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC, Boston and New York City, screening the Sundance and SXSW hit that critics are calling ‘funny,*’ ‘funny**’ and ‘funny.***’

Tagging along will be Devin Faraci, editor-in-chief of the Alamo Drafthouse’s new nerd lifestyle site, Badass Digest. Devin will be keeping a video diary from the road, sharing his adventures with readers of Badass Digest, as well as documenting the Q&As. ‘I’ve been a big fan of Chris Morris since his days on TV, with the incredible show Brass Eye,’ says Faraci. ‘So it’ll be exciting and more than a little intimidating to travel with him cross country.’

I know I’m excited to see Four Lions (bit bummed out, if unsurprised, that there’s no Atlanta stop), so I hope this leads to a nice wide opening for the film.
