Maybe don’t judge this one by the poster.

It’s Kind Of A Funny Story is the new film from Half Nelson
writer/director/producers Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden. Based on the book
by Ned Vizzini, it tells the story of a depressed kid who gets checked
into a mental ward with adult patients, including Zach Galafianakis’
character. It’s a story about coming to terms with irrational
depressions and inexplicable emotional troubles we all find ourselves
having to face every day. It’s also pretty funny.

I saw this last week and I can say that at the very least, this is a film that shows Galafianakis has more than his Hangover schtick to back up his success.
