Duncan Jones, who directed the fantastic Moon, is an enthusiastic tweeter and just yesterday broke a little news on his upcoming Source Code.

“Have
a bloody fantastic bit of Source Code news. Super star Clint Mansell
WILL be scoring the film. You have no idea how relieved I am.

A
completely understandable reaction, considering Mansell’s scores make
good films feel great, and pushes great films even farther. Mansell’s
score for Moon is as haunting and evocative as any of his work, so I”m excited to see what he dreams up to back Source Code,
which is about a solider forced to relive a terrorist attack over and
over, as the government forces him to investigate the event and
determine who is responsible. Jake Gyllenhaal stars as the soldier, with
Vera Farmiga playing the operator of sorts. Michelle Monaghan plays the
woman in love with the person Gyllenhaal is inhabiting in the exercise.

Jones’ twitter is a fun one to watch, and has produced a few nuggets of gold. For example, check out these Moon sketches he nostalgically posted recently…
