As announced in June, Telltale Games is currently hard at work at their two Universal videogame adaptations, of Back to the Future and Jurassic Park. Today they’re revealed information about the adaptation of everyone’s favorite time traveling series- check the first image of the lead duo!

Dig the look!

Along with the likenesses of the actors Telltale has also announced that Christopher Lloyd will be voicing Doc Brown for the full series, which will consist of five monthly episodes. Not only that, but they’ve enlisted Back to the Future co-creator and writer Bob Gale to help with the story.

“Twenty-five years ago when I wrote Doc Brown’s line about ‘seeing the future,’ little did I realize that I would be traveling with him to work on this game,” said Gale in a press release. “Collaborating with Telltale is an amazing opportunity to continue the adventures of Doc and Marty.”

Besides Marty and Doc there’s one other iconic character in the series, and of course that’s the DeLorean. Expect it to show up in full force, and what’s more- if you’re going to PAX this weekend? Telltale’s bringing the original DeLorean there for you to take pictures with.

“Creating cinematic adventures true to the source is a top mission for Telltale,” says Telltale CEO Dan Connors.  “Securing Marty and Doc for the games, and presenting the experience that fans know and love, has been top on our list since we initiated development.”

Good job, folks. Expect Back to the Future to release sometime at the end of the year, after the movies hits Blu-ray via a 25th Anniversary Trilogy on October 26th.
