Six character banners for the seven Evil Exes from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, which were originally unveiled at the MCM London Expo, are now online (I caught them at ComingSoon). Wikipedia has the plot as: 23-year-old Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) is the bass guitarist for the band Sex Bob-omb, has just met the girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). Scott learns that he must battle Ramona’s seven evil exes, who are coming to kill him. As Scott gets closer to Ramona, amongst the exes his encounters include skateboarders, vegan rock stars, and identical twins. To stay with Ramona, Scott must vanquish all of them before they vanquish him.
Scott Pilgrim is the adaptation of the Bryan Lee O’Malley comic book series and idirected by Edgar Wright. It stars Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Jason Schwartzman, Anna Kendrick, Alison Pill, Brandon Routh and premieres August 13th.
