Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess are in talks to star in One Day, according to THR.com.   The film, which will adapt the David Nicholls novel, centers on Dexter and Emma, who meet for the first time
during their graduation in 1988 and proceed to meet one day a year
for the next 20 years. The story tracks their lives and loves until
they realize they are meant for each other.

Surgess just finished up Peter Weir’s The Way Back, and has Sidney Hall for Joe Russo and The Promised Land for Michael Winterbottom upcoming.  Meanwhile, Hathaway is currently on screens as the White Queen in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.  She has the film Love and Other Drugs upcoming as well.

Plus, she also has a standing invitation in my fantasy world.
