The second Nightmare on Elm Street trailer is here, and it’s a whole lot less effective than that first teaser. Now we meet a few of the “teens” that Freddy will meet and butcher, who are trying to stay awake no matter what. Count how many scenes are ripped straight from the original!
Really not expecting much after this one. I kinda dig what Haley’s going for here in Freddy- it’s certainly dark and much more like the first Nightmare on Elm Street than the jokey character he became- but does anyone hear a very drunk and horny Colonel Tigh in his voice?
(On a side note, can anyone tell me when we decided that blood has to be black to be acceptable for green band trailers? Who started that nonsense?)
