The opening titles to Gaspar Noe’s Enter the Void terrified me. They’re amazing, first of all – they got a round of applause at my Sundance press screening – but they’re also overwhelming. I was afraid that if this was how Noe was starting the movie, shit was gonna get real very soon.
Thankfully this is probably the nuttiest part of the film, although I think the rest of the movie is a kind of brilliant mess of genius. You can read my full review right here.
In the meantime, check out these opening titles, and imagine them 15 feet tall in a darkened theater with a booming sound system.
Thanks to Rodney Perkins for the heads up that this is online.
