Today MTV, Apple Corps and Harmonix announced that The Beatles: Rock Band will be getting some more DLC, but it might not be what you wanted to hear. Rather than news about another full album release, we got word that their track ‘All You Need Is Love‘ will be finally coming to the Wii and PS3. The song was an Xbox 360 exclusive when it hit alongside the game last September and the sales proceeds went to Doctors Without Borders, managing to raise over 200 grand for the organization. Good job, everyone!

It doesn’t seem as if any more money will be donated, but the song will be available for download on the Wii starting February 16th and the PS3 on March 4th. It’s a cent cheaper on PS3 as usual at $1.99. It’s definitely not the strongest song in the game but get a crowd together to sing it and it’s a blast.

But what about more albums, the real DLC that people are wishing and waiting for? I contacted a Harmonix spokesperson for a response and this is what they had to say: “We have not announced any further DLC for The Beatles: Rock Band beyond Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Rubber Soul and ‘All You Need is Love’.”

So they don’t want to spill anything just yet. All I know is that my collection needs a little Help, if you know what I mean…

We’ll let you know if they announce more!
