Overture Films just sent over the two latest TV spots for The Crazies, a movie that’s somehow looking better and better.
There’s nothing terribly new from what we’ve seen in the last few trailers but this is their last push for the film, which opens in less than a month. The remake of George Romero’s film keeps roughly the same story (town gone mad, military intervention, etc.) although they didn’t look like monsters in the original… just like regular people. It’s definitely not one of Romero’s best but it still holds up today, and works well as an interesting double feature with Cronenberg’s Shivers.
