EB Games (who are still in business, apparently*) brings us the first batch of images from Bungie’s final foray into the Halo universe, provided that you didn’t see them first in this month’s issue of Game Informer:

Halo: Reach takes place days prior to the original Halo, and follows a rag-tag team of space marines in a race to save “Reach,” the United Nations Space Command’s hub of operations and most coveted prize, from the clutches of the Covenant. You’ll be playing as a Spartan member of Noble Team, which comprises teammates Kat, Emile, Jorge, Jun, and Carter. I wonder if at least one of these characters will crack lots of jokes.
For those interested, Bungie is prepping a multiplayer beta for this Spring, which will be unlocked using a copy of Halo 3: ODST.
Halo: Reach hits the 360 later this year.
