I am dying to see this movie.

I love werewolves. I love Del Toro, Blunt, and Weaving [dead ringers for Crosby, Stills, and Nash]. I love Rick Baker. I love when people are whisked offscreen in a flash by an attacker. I really like Joe Johnston.

Yes, it’s been through many release date bumps. It changed directors late in the game.

But it’s a Universal Monster. It’s finally here. It’s going to be a lot of fun and hopefully a return to the old school. Plus, it seems like this is Benicio’s dream project, something he’s wanted to do and has shepherded through the process every step of the way.

Gossip be damned. The Wolfman is here.

Want to see it before your peers? Use the corresponding link below and include your mailing address. Here’s some questions you must answer to be eligible [but not guaranteed] a pass:

1. Better movie, The Howling or An American Werewolf in London? If you say The Howling I will not send you a pass.
2. Better movie, Dog Soldiers or An American Werewolf in Paris. If you don’t say Dog Soldiers I will not send you a pass.
3. Better movie, Ginger Snaps or The Howling III: The Marsupials? If you don’t say Ginger Snaps I will not send a pass.
4. An American Werewolf is so amazing. The Blu-ray has a great feature length documentary on the making of it. If out of nowhere Joe Johnston’s The Wolfman has a group of Nazi Werewolves show up and kick ass [yes, I know it’s a period film before Nazis were invented], does it instantly deserve the Best Picture of 2010 Oscar?

Good luck.
