So earlier as part of my weekend long celebration I went to The Olive Garden with Vanessa and we had ourselves a nice meal. I’ve always liked eating at The Olive Garden. Around these parts, eating at The Olive Garden is as “ritzy” as it can get.

It’s still one hell of a nice place. They must be pretty selective with who they hire as waiters, because that is the only place I can think of where the waiters are always nice and they are always very conversational. I’ve gone to many other places where the waiters may be having a bad day, or are just going through the motions of their job. Not this place.

Whenever we go there, I tend to usually order the same thing. Recently I’ve changed it up a bit. I used to get linguine with breaded chicken. Back in October, we took advantage of this deal they had with endless pasta plates, and I was introduced to angel hair pasta, and Italian sausage. Ever since then I’ve been getting that same order.

I’d known about angel hair pasta, but it was Vanessa ordering it that got me to try it out. Today was also the first time in a long time we didn’t get salad. We both got soup. Vanessa got minestrone soup, and I got a soup that I can’t remember the name, but it was chopped up sausage and potatoes in a white broth that was DELICIOUS.

The price came out to be very reasonable as well. The Olive Garden is one great place that I love going to.
