The first trailer for Columbia Pictures’ remake of The Karate Kid has just hit the net via Yahoo! Movies. The film stars Will Smith’s spawn Jaden as a fish out of water in China, a new kid picked on by bullies until he gets trained in the dark arts by Jackie Chan (surprisingly, the character is named Mr. Han this time around).
It’s definitely a whole lot more slick than the older film, that’s for sure. Check it out.
The Karate Kid hits theaters June 11th.
