We’ve already seen her briefly beating up criminals in the trailer (at 1:17) and even seen her origin story in this clip. But now we can see Hit Girl doing what everyone else in Kick-Ass loves to do- stare out at evildoers at the top of a skyscraper.
I never really understood the affinity comic book heroes have for skyscrapers. Can you really see what’s going on in the city from the top of one? How long would it take to get down to the ground to stop a crime? Besides, the places with skyscrapers are usually more affluent than the neighborhoods that have all the crime; surely there are better vantage points and areas they can be patrolling? But I digress…
