MTV Games and Harmonix announced today that the third downloadable album for The Beatles: Rock Band, Rubber Soul, will be available next week. Hitting December 15th on Xbox 360 and December 17th on PS3, the pack will contain all 11 songs needed to complete the album (Drive My Car, I’m Looking Through You, and If I Needed Someone are already on the disc.) It will cost $13.50 for the whole shebang, or two bucks a track. (UPDATE- They sent out a press release with the wrong info- the full pack actually costs $17.99!)

I’m excited for this one. While Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band are amazing albums, they don’t completely work in a four-person band format. Rubber Soul is much more of a traditional rock album and should be one hell of a solid pack. “Run For Your Life” in particular should be awesome at the bar!
