It wasn’t quite 28 months later when the sequel to the 2007 Spanish horror film, [Rec], [Rec] 2, recently made its premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Now we’re getting some of the international one-sheets for the shaky-cam sequel from our amici at BadTaste over in The Boot. [Rec] 2 is again written and directed by Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza and picks up right where the first one left off, with basically all kinds of bloody hell breaking loose inside an apartment building due to a fairly nasty virus.
Stars Manuela Velasco and Pablo Rosso are returning, although for how long is anyone’s guess considering how the original ended. This new installment focuses on a medical officer and GEO (Special Ops) team going into the building with cameras to try to contain the situation.
