…most likely because all the King’s horses really mucked things up. Who would let horses try to put a gigantic egg man back together, honestly? Just seems like a bad idea.
Anyway, the news here is that Zach Galifianakis is in talks to play Humpty Dumpty in the upcoming Puss in Boots. Yes, the Shrek spinoff, because we all know that a movie full of Puss making the weepy eye face dozens of times will make people go awww and fall in love. At least it’s good to see Galifianakis getting bigger projects after being the best part of the utterly forgettable The Hangover.
The movie is actually a prequel that will tell the all-important story of how Puss came to find Shrek in the second film. Chris Miller, co-writer and co-director of Shrek the Third, is directing this one and wrote the first script.
We will find out all the answers we ever wanted on November 4th, 2011. For more even more Puss, we have the fourth Shrek film, Shrek Forever After, hitting on May 21st next year. Christ.
