At least, that what DreamWorks is thinking, according to Variety. The studio has just picked up the spec script, Someone in the Dark, written by scribes Richard Blaney and Gregory Small. Blaney has no discernible credits, but Small has served as a producer on various smaller projects and wrote a film called Crime Lords back in 1991. The only description available on the project is that it’s a teen (big surprise there) take on Body Heat.
Gavin Brooks (Quid Pro Quo) is attached to direct, while Gavin Polone (Zombieland) is on board to produce with SKG exec Marc Haimes. I’m sure a platoon of the tweens du jour will be attached very soon.
