If we start seeing a bunch of cowboy movies coming from France will we call them Crepe Westerns?
Lucky Luke is based on a French comic and it looks amazing, if the trailer and two minutes of footage are any indication. High energy, cartoonishly stylized and beautiful to look at, Lucky Luke has the makings of a new cult classic (See The Good, The Bad and the Weird for another cult classic foreign Western, this time Korean). The question is: will Lucky Luke hit the US? There’s no deal right now. Here’s hoping that it gets released somewhere where it gets subtitled, since even without understanding a word that is said, I am digging Lucky Luke a lot.
