Twitch has uncovered the trailer for Black Lightning, a Russian movie that has nothing to do with a jive-talking DC superhero. Rather this film, produced by Nightwatch and Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov, is about a Russian kid who gets a flying car.
The trailer doesn’t get me that excited because it simply looks like an American film with people talking Russian; love or hate Nightwatch and Daywatch, at least they felt Russian in some way. I guess that’s globalization for you. The movie does look potentially cool, just not Russian cool.
