Wu-Tang Clan’s inevitable march towards world domination takes another step forward as the clan’s sharpest mother fucker brings some much needed ruckus to Hollywood. Joining Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis, Jamie Foxx, and Michelle Monaghan, the RZA will be appearing in Todd Phillips new comedy flick Due Date.
The film is apparently a Planes, Trains, and Automobiles type of anti-buddy comedy, with an impending birth serving as the ticking clock. It seems Downey Jr. and Galifianakis will be “mismatched travel companion[s]” and the RZA will bring forth awesome in an unspecified role.
Adding to that, Monday brought news that Liam Neeson was joining Paul Haggis’ thriller The Next Three Days– turns out that RZA will be too! The rhymer always manages to work with interesting people (Tarantino, Ridley Scott) when he dabbles in Hollywood, and he continues that trend by joining a couple of stellar casts.
