Next Tuesday Anvil! The Story of Anvil
will be once again playing in NYC’s Village East Cinemas, and following
it the band themselves will be taking the stage to perform a little
set.
The screening starts at 10:30 PM, and having already sat
through “The Anvil Experience” I have to say that you really can’t miss
out on this. There’s just no other way to see the film! It ends on such
an uplifting, triumphant note and when the band pops out on stage and
you realize that they truly are living their dream nowadays there’s no
greater feeling in the world. Plus, they fucking rock.
Anyone
outside NYC who has yet to check out the incredible documentary won’t
have to wait long- the movie’s hitting DVD everywhere on October 6th,
and will premiere on VH1 and VH1 Classic on Saturday October 3rd at
10:00 PM ET/PT. Make sure to set those DVRs, as you’ll want to watch
this one over and over again.
