With all the commotion surrounding the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XIII, there hasn’t been much room for news about Square Enix’s other FF title in the works. Check out this trailer that premiered yesterday at the Tokyo Game Show:
Unwieldy grammar, treacly piano music, and androgynous heroes? By the gentle mists of sadness, I believe that’s a new Final Fantasy XIV trailer!
In addition to rampaging Marlboros and airships, it would appear that the trading card minigame is also making a comeback. Eorzea’s lush forest landscapes and tranquil seas look like really fun places to explore, but since XIV is another MMORPG, there’s a high probability that very few people will do that.
