Daft Punk is in DJ Hero, and there doesn’t seem to be a better fit for the game. They’re almost live-action videogame characters nowadays anyway. They show up wearing their familiar helmets although it’s a bit of a shame they’re not wearing their Tron getups.
This new trailer just hit today showcasing their mix of Queen’s We Will Rock You, one of the many exclusive tracks they remixed just for the game. Just check out the amazing list of groups they’ll be tackling at the end of the trailer!
They join quite a list of playable characters that will be in the game (as well as lending their own exclusive tracks)- Eminem, Jay-Z, DJ Shadow, Z-Trip, a live version of DJ AM, Grandmaster Flash and DJ Jazzy Jeff. But Daft Punk looks like the most fun to control of the bunch.
Judging from the look of things they’ll be quite pleased with their in-game avatars, but then again, they’re not drugged-out asshole spouses to dead rockstars. DJ Hero hits stores late October!
