We’ve been waiting a long fucking time for The Pacific, the follow-up to HBO’s Band of Brothers WWII miniseries. Where that show followed the European campaign, The Pacific is set in the war against Japan, a brutal and bloody conflict that was a war of attrition unlike any seen before.
It’s getting closer to the show’s debut – March 2010 – and HBO is getting their tease on with this excellent new trailer that really gives you a sense of the scope and power of The Pacific. I can’t wait for this.
