I never really grew up with the story of Paul Bunyon, so to me Babe the Blue Ox is a Brooklyn alt rock band from the early 90s. But I doubt Jeff Foxworthy listened to much of them.
That hideous segue is my way of explaining to you that the cracka comedian has been cast as the voice of the fictional Babe the Blue Ox in MGM’s animated Bunyon & Babe. John Goodman will be playing the voice of Paul Bunyon.
The film is a modern take on the legend, with a story ripped right from The A-Team or The Incredible Hulk: Babe and Paul must stop an evil developer (Kelsey Grammar) from ruining a small town. They could just have the ox shit on him – the fucking thing is like 200 feet tall.
